Simple Style Statements

This file was produced using a very simple stylesheet. Unfortunately if you are reading this on Geocities I can't show you what I mean: you will have to look it up. Stylesheets will help to keep your text body uncluttered and easy to understand. If you have linked to this page from another page you can click this link to go back.

Again if you are reading a printout you will just have to look at the other one; but (and now for some of the tiresome American in which many Internet books are written) hey, the longest journey starts with the first step, right? On the machine you can click back and forth between the two pages as often as you like and, because we are not on the Internet, you can do it very quickly. Actually, by now we may be: that sentence is there because I wrote this originally for a local network. Shows you how quick things can change, right? No, I'm doing it again! The reason it takes longer, and can often take much longer, on the Net is that your signals may be going to any part of the world, or almost any. Then you are waiting for more to come back. How quickly or slowly it happens depends on a lot of things, such as how powerful your computer is, how many links the data have to go through, how well maintained they are, or simply how much traffic there is. Fortunately, in Geocities navigation is fairly quick, but it is only fair to warn that you must be prepared for frustration. Click the link below to go to a third page:
